AERIS, the artificial intelligence agent of the Bagyo.app platform, published a detailed report on the effects of Cyclone Awan. The report’s goal is to provide verifiable, real-time data to disaster relief organizations.
Amnesty International report details: £421 million of damage, with 2.4 million affected
according to Air reportdated November 13, details the severe damage caused by the super typhoon, which made landfall on mainland Luzon on November 9, 2025.
Among the highest affected provinces are Aurora, Pangasinan, La Union, Isabela and Hangate.

From “Vibe Code” to live publishing in days

The report is the first “proof of work” of Bagyo.app (https://www.bagyo.app/chat).
Bagyo.app is the platform created by New Prontera Corporation, a startup led by John Sedano, Jared Dellinger, El Buñoan, and other Filipino volunteers with the aim of helping affected Filipinos during typhoons.
Sedano told BitPinas that the team took 72 hours to build Bagyo.app using biometric cryptography, a method that uses artificial intelligence to generate code.

Users will be able to talk to AERIS where they can ask questions about current and past hurricanes in the country, or even ask about the nearest evacuation site. They can also call the 911 emergency hotline within Bagyo.app and access other emergency hotlines.
Meanwhile, for less affected individuals, they can use Bagyo.app to donate cryptocurrencies. They can also make an in-kind donation, and AERIS can tell them where to bring their donations.
Apart from being integrated into Bagyo.app, so is AERIS Supports Hurricane updates on X.

Bagyo.app’s next steps: scalability and open source
Sedano noted that the long-term goal is to make Bagyo.app open source. Once fully launched, its code repository will be public, allowing government agencies and other groups around the world to adapt and use the technology.
