Akash’s immigration proposal has been passed, bringing Solana’s DePIN puzzle one step closer. The real test begins after community approval ① Akash announced that Proposition 346 has passed, approving the direction of migration to Solana. This represents a clear advance in governance, enabling the team to pursue next steps – but it does not mean that the computing market has already been migrated. ② The proposal includes one-to-one conversion of SPL AKT and migration path. Token deployment still requires audits and other steps, while a market switch will require a separate vote in the future. Token holders must distinguish between rights and actions at each stage. ③ For Solana, the key observation is whether existing computational services, settlement assets and applications can form a real collaboration. Post-migration order fulfillment, service stability and developer qualification are more important than simply announcing entry into the ecosystem. ④ Migration will also change the operational structure of the original network. Validators, service providers, and stakeholders will each face different impacts; The final rules must be determined by formal implementation documents, and cannot be oversimplified as a single “good news” sign. My own assessment: This is a structural development that deserves continued monitoring. A shared settlement infrastructure may allow the team to focus more on product development, but whether it actually reduces operating costs needs to be proven by implementation results.
