Robert F. Deepin, 87, from Assonet, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and grandfather, peace on October 14, 2024, in his hometown of Ful River, Massachusetts. He was born on October 1, 1937, to the late Roland E and Janet (Stevens) Debine. Robert lived a life full of love and intimate friendship, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and dear memories.
He is an old warrior in the Air Force, Robert served in Benghazi during the Vietnam War. His dedication to service extended beyond his military commitment; He was deeply involved in his community, represented by his role as a coach of the soft ball in Assonet Girls, Pony League and as an active parent in the band, where he supported his children and their passion. Echo of Robert’s kindness and community spirit with many ties that formed both his life and the life of those around him.
Robert graduated from the BMC Durfe High School and continued to teach him at Fisher Junior College, and he laid a strong basis for a profession he saw flourish at the Nioport Maritime Education Training Center, Rod Island. He was respected by his work ethics and commitment, and went to every mission with a feeling of pride.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Robert found joy in simple life. His hobbies included reading and watching sports, especially enjoying the company of his beloved grandchildren. He was an enthusiastic member of the Boling League, and often laughing and good times with friends and family.
Within 63 years of his marriage, Robert devoted his wife to Lusail Eye. Together, they created a care environment for their family. Robert survived by his three children: Robert F. Debine Junior and his wife Kelly; David a. Deep and his wife Monica; Matthew S. Debine and his wife Jimma; His daughter, Marian Smith, and her husband James. Behind him leaves a vibrant legacy of 9 descendants: Daniel, Megan, Matthew Junior, Mark, Abeel, Andrew and Alison Depine, Benjamin and Adam Smith, in addition to four descendants: Isabella, McKinsey, Claire, and Zoe Debine. He also leaves daughters and sons of his brother.
Sad by many, while he did not sing it with his parents and brothers, Roland and Edward Deepin, in eternal comfort.
A visit to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 4 pm to 8 pm at AUCLAIR FURAL Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River, Massachusetts.
His funeral will take place on Friday, October 25, 9:45 from the funeral home with a funeral mass at 11 am in the St. Bernard Church 30 South Main Street in Asounit, Massachusetts.
