Minister of Ghana Samuel George the heroes of artificial intelligence, Blockchain, and 24 -hour economy at MebSis 2025, focusing on a comprehensive digital transformation and growth.
The Minister of Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations, Hun. Samuel Nahti George (MP) occupied the lead center yesterday at the Millennium Economic, Social and Social Summit (MEBSIS 2025), at the Lancaster Hotel in Kumasi.
The intercourse, which distorts “the sustainable development goals: a vibrant economy as a motivation for transformation”, between business leaders, policy makers, investors and businessmen from all sectors to collectively draw a path towards economic flexibility and comprehensive growth.
As part of the top concentration on innovations and emerging technology, Hun. George joined a high-level discussion episode on the topic: “AI, Blockchain and the future of business-digital transformation trends and its impact on trade and financing.”
His contribution shed light on Ghana’s strategic approach to harnessing border technologies for national development.
In his statements, the minister stressed the ministry’s commitment to put Ghana as a regional leader in digital innovation, saying: “We see AI and Blockchain not as tools, but as a critical infrastructure for the future of commercial work, governance and public services.
Hun. George highlighted the importance of creating an empowerment environment for digital transformation, through investments in smart infrastructure, organizational reforms and comprehensive digital literacy programs.

In a separate session, the minister also joined a 24 -hour discussion committee in Ghana. The participants have briefed the government’s readiness to operate the initiative, which aims to expand economic productivity exceeding traditional working hours. “The policy of economics 24 hours is no longer just a promise-it is in a movement. The ministries, companies and local governments are compatible to activate their full potential,” he said, adding that it will open new employment and economic activity at the country level.
MEBSIS 2025 was placed as a transformative platform, with its comprehensive goal of harmonizing the economic transformation with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS).
The summit aims to ignite bold talks on the movement of technological turmoil, to accelerate the partnerships of the cross -sector, and to empower youth and women in leadership and entrepreneurship.
The main goals of the summit include:
1. Explore how economies can flourish amid technological transformations, climate challenges, and financial fluctuations;
2. Building partnerships between governments, companies, financial institutions and social institutions to align profitability with sustainability;
3. Opening the role of business and entrepreneurship in creating job opportunities and innovation;

5. Enhance the institutions driven by young people and their social impact.
