Below is a guest post from Royal Radiuk, Director of Public Relations in Ethereum Ukraine.

Web3 It develops very quickly – new protocols appear, change the directions of developers, and the skills in demand may become old tomorrow. For those who move in this industry, staying at the forefront is not only related to technical experience; It comes to understanding where the space is going.

Yuri KovaltokokWeb3 Engineer in Forte Group and Blockchain Development Lecter in set UniversityI witnessed these transformations directly. With more than nine years in it, it extends to the rear Java development to the leading teams in the WEB3 startups, it brings a unique perspective on how the industry changes and where it will go after that.

From the rise of the AI-A-Ei integrated solutions to the security security spots that still suffer from developers-this interview is the disintegration of the fact of building in Web3 today. Whether you are developed, investor, or just a curious mind looking to understand the space, Yurii visions offer a rare look at the challenges and opportunities that make up the Blockchain future.

Web3 Labor Market: How has the industry changed over the past five years?

How different is the demand for specialists in WEB3 today compared to 5 years? What are the topics that the ordinary student developer should pay attention to working in Web3?

Yuri: Five years is a full era for Web3. This period is very solid to evaluate changes with the development of the market in quick sessions.

For example, 5 years ago, we didn’t even know what Defi was. Now it is one of the main components of Web3. But if we talk about the current trends in the labor market, these are the main points that I see:

  • High demand for rust developers. Solana’s popularity, as well as the demand for specialists who can write effectively in rust.
  • Web3 engineers with artificial intelligence understanding. AI’s customer space develops quickly, and there is a demand for artificial intelligence integration in Web3 protocols.
  • Security researchers. There is expected to be a new wave of prosecution attacks, so auditors and security specialists are more popular.
  • Developer relationships. This role, which helps in building a bridge between projects and developers, has become increasingly important as web3 extends beyond the narrow technical society.
  • Marketing in an aggressive manner. Web3 has a very specific marketing method, which requires flexibility and size. The usual methods do not always work.
  • Community managers. Web3 projects depend greatly on society, and the community management has become very important.

Solana vs. Ethereum: Where is one technique on the other?

What does Solana do that Ethereum has not yet been able to achieve? Are there any changes that can correct this defect?

Yuri: In fact, Solana is currently a feature of productivity and low fees. All because of its structure, which allows it to reach thousands of transactions per second without the need for additional scaling layers.

Ethereum, on the other hand, builds a more central and reliable infrastructure, making it safer and more sustainable in the long run. Layer 2 solutions are actively developed and already allowed for ETHEREUM to significantly improve performance.

With future updates, Ethereum will be able to catch up with the speed of treatment and cost.

But whether Solana will be able to achieve the same stability and decentralization because Ethereum is an open question.

There is still a decisive security mistake in Web3

It often indicates the importance of safety on your blog. What is the common security error that web3 developers are still making?

Yuri: The biggest mistake is still developers and users is Not managing private keys correctly.

Yes, the joke about adhering to the private key on Github is still relevant because it is only partially correct. People often store seeds, special switches, and other sensitive information incorrectly, neglecting devices wallets and additional signing checks, which leads to breakthroughs, hunting and theft of assets.

Smart contract access management comes in a second. This is the main cause of the WEB3 protocol, with many developers leave excessive administrative rights or incorrectly implementing the contract updating mechanisms.

As a result, owners may lose control of the protocol, or infiltrators may be able to reach critical functions.

Web3 continues to develop, but basic security errors are still the cause of the biggest attacks and breakthroughs.

Web3 needs to be renamed. But what kind of brand rename?

– You are recently I mentioned Web3 needs a new location. What are the specific aspects that you think should be changed?

Yuri: I don’t think “Web3” as a term needs to be renamed – its image is still very positive and uninfected.

The need for change is related to concepts Encryption and Blockchain.

Crypto today has a very speculative and negative image due to the large number of people trying to offend the use of the system and chase the easy money. On the other hand, Blockchain is seen as an old and archaeological term, and sometimes it is automatically identified with cryptocurrencies, creating the wrong impression. This can only be corrected through appropriate education and communication.

On the pages of my social media, I always explain that these three concepts – Web3, Blockchain and Crypto – are all completely different things.

So, Blockchain It is a technique, Encryption It is one of the cases of use, and Web3 It is a full model for the new internet, in which you have your data and assets.

This approach should help form the correct perception of the Web3 between the group audience.

Petra: What is it and why is it important?

On February 24, the Etherum Pectra Hard thorn is scheduled to occur. What are the main changes that this update brings, and what are the new opportunities that the ethereum ecological system opens and its developers?

Yuri: The Petra solid fork is another important step in the ETHEREUM development, combining two main shows: Prague for the implementation layer and Electra for the consensus. This will be one of the largest ETHEREUM updates in history (in terms of EIPS). There are three main areas worth indicating:

  • User experience (EIP-7702) is a new approach to converting EOAS temporarily (external-owned accounts) into smart contracts, which greatly improves UX and brings us closer to stripping the real account (AA). This opens opportunities such as renewing transactions, pushing commissions using ERC-20 codes, and different levels of arrival to the account.
  • Auditors worked (EIP-7002, EIP-7251). The auditors will be able to withdraw their profits and subject them independently, which will make the process more flexible and faster. Moreover, the maximum amount of roaming with one auditor will increase from 32 ETH to 2048 ETH. This will simplify the administration in favor of adult makers and reduce the number of network auditors while maintaining decentralization.
  • Eip-7691 Increases the maximum BLOB data number in a block to 9 (previously 6) and the target number to 6 (previously 3), which temporarily improves the ETHEREUM productivity for Rollup solutions until Peerdas is performed. EIP-7623 increases the cost of CALLDATA by encouraging inferences to use BLOB data, which is a more effective way to store it.

Do the developers still create market trends?

You are currently participating in the UniswAP Hook incubator. Given that the dominant market accounts are formed by developers, is it possible to predict the market trends in such a society?

Yuri: Yes, I am currently in the middle of completing an incubator program run by the UISWAP Foundation and ATRIUM Academy. In it, we deeply explore the capacity of the UniSWAP V4 and its main advantage – hooks.

This version opens endless possibilities to customize AMM, including dynamic fees, MEV protection, and flexible liquidity management mechanisms, which allow you to build additional functions only to UISWAP, but complete protocols over them.

Moreover, the uniswap places heading not only in Defi. For example, projects such as FLAUNCH, which is a mechanical launch platform with a fair auction, shows that its application exceeds the traditional DeX.

I think The next big direction is the deeper model of Defi protocols and the integration of designated mechanics in liquidity. V4 allows you to create products with your own pricing, simultaneous exchange and flexible liquidity management, which can significantly change the Defi market in the coming years.

Memecoin automation: a new opportunity or the risk bubble?

– Pump.fun’s launch on mobile devices shows that creating memecoins is easier than ever. Your projects are from the last two hackathons also simplify this process. Is there a risk that the ease of issuing the distinctive symbol leads to Huge bubble? Does WEB3 not turn into fast food?

Yuri: In fact, one of our projects truly simplified creation of Memecoins using artificial intelligence agents.

We have seen that Memecoins and AI are one of the most dynamic areas in Web3 at the present time, so we decided to combine these trends by exploring their synergy and potential impact on the market. Certainly, the ease of creation will lead to an increase in the number of symbols, and it will not all have a basis or good benefit. but, I don’t think fighting low -quality projects should make it difficult to create artificially.

Web3 is still in the process of improving the user experience, and our task is to make it easier for new arrivals. Restrictions and barriers are not the answer – it is important to teach people to distinguish between quality and understand value.

It looks like it with food: instead of banning fast food, we teach children to choose a healthy food. Web3 should do the same – No ban, however Raising.

Memecoins for confidence in Web3

Does Memecoins distort WEB3 in the eyes of people who want to become developers and investors? How do events affect the scale, $ Trump, Czechoslovakia, and other similar situations in technology?

Yuri: I don’t think Memecoins is like a code of web3. They can have mechanics and health facilities. Think of them as promotional publication or public relations campaign for a project.

If you want to quickly attract the audience’s attention and form a society, Memecoins can effectively play this role. Moreover, themes are closer to a wide audience – both for ordinary and enthusiastic users who want to launch something of their own, even if they are of a nature of fans.

As for the definition of web 3 in general, this issue does not only apply to memecoins. Any project whose main goal is to deceive users harm the reputation of the industry. Whether it is a meteion or 1 Blockchain layer that was only present on paper, lifting millions through ICO, and has disappeared, the principle is the same. Yes, due to the ease of creating a distinctive symbol, this tool has already become easier for deception, and rag withdrawals have now occurred. However, as in the previous question, the solution is not in the ban but in education.

DYOR (doing your own research) remains a major principle for all Web3 participants.
