Crypto.com has expanded its institutional custodial services to include XYO and XL1 tokens from the XYO ecosystem, a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN). The move allows qualified institutional investors and high-net-worth clients to securely hold these tokens through the Crypto.com custodial platform without managing private keys, addressing regulatory concerns. This expansion comes on the heels of Crypto.com’s recent $400 million investment from Citadel Securities and its increased regulatory presence in the US, putting the company in a position to support a wide range of blockchain projects outside of Bitcoin and Ethereum. This development reflects growing institutional interest in tokenization and DePIN networks, signaling a broader adoption of diverse blockchain assets.
