IoTeX, the blockchain platform for real-world AI, today announced the launch of Season 2 of Crypto’s Got Talent (CGT), an open, community-driven competition designed to discover and support the next generation of high-potential DePIN projects. Sponsored by 0G Network, the world’s largest Layer 1 AI developer, the new season blends entertainment, ecosystem collaboration and funding aimed at accelerating adoption across Web3 infrastructure.
Submissions for Season 2 opened in August, with the live premiere scheduled for September 8. Across eight to nine episodes, including the live finale, CGT will feature approximately 25 selected teams competing for achievement-based grants, culminating in six funded winners. The program extends beyond the exhibition itself, with a critical four- to six-month post-competition phase to help projects scale and make measurable progress.
The launch builds on the momentum of Season 1, which attracted nearly 200,000 impressions and nearly 3,000 community votes. Five notable projects have received grants and are now developing decentralized solutions in sectors including electric vehicle charging (DeCharge), 3D mapping (ROVR), drone detection (Gargoyle Systems), environmental data (Nubila), and internet-connected finance (Axal).
“Crypto’s Got Talent was created to highlight builders tackling real-world infrastructure challenges,” said Jing Sun, co-founder of IoTeX. “Season 1 proved that the community is hungry for innovative DePIN projects, and with 0G’s support, Season 2 will be even bigger, more global, and more impactful.”
Season 2 continues the show’s unique format, as projects progress through public pitch rounds, video demos, and a final presentation. Winners will be selected based on innovation, implementation and real-world impact, combining community engagement with high-quality evaluation from judges and mentors.
“0G is proud to sponsor Crypto’s Got Talent because it reflects our mission of empowering AI and Web3 creators to shape the future,” said Michael Heinrich, co-founder and CEO of 0G. “Together with IoTeX, we are supporting teams that are pushing the boundaries of decentralized infrastructure and real-world AI applications.”
