Inference Labs, developer of a verifiable AI cluster, and Cysic, a provider of decentralized zero-knowledge (ZK) computing hardware, have officially announced a strategic partnership to enable scalable, cost-effective, and verifiable AI applications. This collaboration combines ASIC-enabled decentralized computing with a verifiable AI framework to address long-term performance and cost constraints in real-world zkML use cases.

The integration will see Inference Labs’ verifiable AI software deployed on Cysic’s decentralized computing network, leveraging its ZK proof hardware to support scalable, low-cost AI verification. This unified infrastructure aims to support emerging applications such as verifiable autonomous agents and Oracles by enabling accountability and transparency through proof-based systems.

Historically, AI “black box” decision-making processes have raised concerns about trust and transparency in critical environments. This partnership aims to provide the basic infrastructure needed to make verifiable AI systems widely applicable.

The new frontier of verifiable applications

Today’s AI output cannot be verified. End users and intermediary applications have no way of knowing whether a particular output came from a particular form. But future applications will require an auditable paper trail of all AI outputs.

For example:

  • Independent agents executing trades will need to prove that their actions were correct and by the book.
  • Oracles that feed critical data (to forecasting, loans, and insurance markets) will need to prove that their data has been processed by a legitimate and unchanged model.

Extended applications: These applications will open the door to a new generation of high-risk use cases that were previously impossible, including:

  • DeFi and cross-chain finance: AI-powered trading strategies that are fair and forward-resistant; Underwriting models that assess risk without revealing sensitive data.
  • Governance and decentralized autonomous organizations: DAO’s fully independent executives make and implement decisions using encrypted proof of adherence to governance rules.
  • Prediction and Forecasting Markets: Oracles that provide auditable predictions of events, commodities, or elections, proving their data sources and model integrity.
  • Identity and reputation: Sybil-resistant identification systems that verify uniqueness without collecting or revealing personal biometric data.

Historically, the vision for these verifiable proxies and prophecies was clear, but the “proof generation” step, i.e. the cryptographic workload that makes verification possible, lacked an infrastructure capable of scaling to meet the workload these applications needed.

Trust Engineers

The new partnership creates a synergistic combination between two protocols that are uniquely positioned to power future-proof, verifiable AI.

Inference Labs’ Verified AI Stack is the integration layer for AI. Its zk-proof system allows any independent agent or oracle to create proof of its honest operation while at the same time maintaining the privacy of its underlying IP address and data. This verification is a fundamental requirement for tomorrow’s AI-powered software.

Cysic’s decentralized computing network acts as a proof engine for Web3. It uses specialized hardware (ASICs and GPUs) to perform the computationally intensive operations required for ZK proofs, and it does so at a scale and cost that makes running these operators economically feasible. Together, the two protocols form the infrastructure needed to power the verified AI revolution now and into the future.

“Cysic is designed to transform computing into a verifiable and scalable resource for the next generation of decentralized systems,” said Liu Fan, CEO of Cysic. “Partnering with Inference Labs allows us to apply this vision directly to zkML, removing cost and performance barriers and enabling accountable AI across autonomous agents and decision-making platforms.”

“True innovation happens at the intersection of great teams.” said Inference Labs co-founder Ron Chan. “Partnering with Cysic connects the best verifiable AI software with our best-in-class decentralized proof engine. Together, we provide the essential infrastructure that will enable builders to build a new generation of trusted, AI-powered applications.”

This partnership signifies the activation of a critical infrastructure layer for a trustless digital future. By solving the fundamental bottleneck of evidence generation, Cysic and Inference Labs are not only enabling a new class of applications, they are also laying the foundation for a world in which autonomous systems operate with cryptographic certainty rather than blind faith. The era of verifiable and accountable AI can begin now.

About CySEC

CySECbacked by major investors including Polychain Capital, OKX Ventures, and HashKey Capital, is building a verifiable computing engine for Web3. By combining custom ZK hardware, a decentralized network of nodes, and a programmable economic layer, Cysic turns computations into a trustless, on-chain resource. The network supports scalable proof generation, AI verification, and scientific computing workloads, laying the foundation for the ComputeFi economy.
