Ready resources to develop artificial intelligence
Dr. Le Quiang Dam, General Manager of Marfel Veit Nam, Ltd., commented that Da Nang has a great possibility to become a major place in artificial intelligence and connections in Viet Nam, specifically with attention, commitment, attractiveness and investment in the central government, municipal authorities, and business support.
Da Nang is proud of a strong infrastructure and a growing group of high -quality young human resources. For this reason, Marvell chose to open an office in Da Nang in May 2024, starting from 50 engineers and plans to expand more. Recently, Marvell as a strategic partner of the city has been recognized in the fields of semiconductors and AI. In the near future, Marvell will provide support in software, devices, human resources training and content development to ensure long -term growth in the city.
According to assistant professor Dr. Hung Kong Fab, Veit Nam Director – Korea University of Information and Communications Technology (VKU) – Da Nang University, three schools in Da Nang, registered 250 students to train conductors. In particular, VKU uses 60 students in the first session of semiconductor design engineers, and the number is expected to rise to 600 – 1000 engineers by 2028.

The Deputy Director of the Ministry of Science and Technology LE Son Phong informed that Da Nang is committed to the development of artificial intelligence based on 25 years of experience in the software industry and digital transformation, while taking advantage of its skilled working power. This initiative aims to advance the artificial intelligence sector not only in technology but also by integrating artificial intelligence in various aspects of social life. The goal is to enhance technological innovation, transform the economic structure, and apply high technology across various fields.
The city has identified a three -sided approach that focuses on human resources, infrastructure and politics. This strategy confirms close cooperation with schools and companies when developing policies or infrastructure. After issuing the National Assembly of Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15, which addresses members of urban governance and pilots specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang, the Municipal Council implemented various policies to develop this decision into practice. Currently, the human resources structure of artificial intelligence in the Da Nang software 2 includes up to 30 % of prominent experts, indicating the city’s capabilities in the fields of semiconductor chips and artificial intelligence.

Three cooperation agreements signed
