“The synergy between our trusted marketplace and MovitOn’s AI-powered courier matching system is nothing short of transformative. We’ve spent years building trust among travelers and senders alike, and now, we’re integrating our 1.3 million users into a smart contract-powered DePIN framework to eliminate all vulnerabilities in today’s logistics systems. This is the moment when peer-to-peer logistics becomes truly mainstream and provides a secure and transparent alternative to the models of the past.”
Under the terms of the agreement, the transfer includes all intellectual property rights, source code, user databases and brand assets, while Glocalzone’s co-founders, Dogan Turan and Burak Sonmez, will remain with the company as consultants. With their experience, they can ensure continuity and maintain the institutional knowledge that drove Glocalzone’s initial success.
The integration process is scheduled to begin immediately, with a gradual onboarding strategy that prioritizes user experience (UX). Existing Glocalzone travelers will be transferred step by step into MovitOn’s AI-powered courier matching system, where real-time variables such as route, schedule and reputation will determine delivery assignments.
Going forward, the brand will operate under the banner “Glocalzone by MovitOn”, maintaining brand continuity while developing the underlying technology. Loyalty programs and dedicated migration mechanisms are being deployed to encourage adoption of the MVON token, transforming fiat payments into a native Web3 economy.
MovitOn’s technology uses EVM-compatible smart contracts to hold funds in escrow, only released upon confirmed delivery via its MovitBox IoT terminals. This “Zero Trust” architecture eliminates the need for centralized dispute resolution – a significant upgrade over the current processes of legacy carriers.
