The Web3 ecosystem is the stronghold of innovation, and provides bold solutions that promise the decentralized character to the systems and empowerment of individuals. However, despite its potential, web3 has not yet become a prevailing phenomenon. Adoption remains slow, hindered by the acute learning curve and important barriers for entry.
These ideas come from my journey as a founder who deals with the challenges of building the DePin project. The scaling has taught me to tens of thousands of users and maps for millions of miles in an invaluable lesson around adoption and decentralization – the least I think can direct others on charges of making DePin prevalent.
In this article, I explore three columns for DePin projects to achieve prevailing adoption: benefit from current devices, expand access, and set the priorities of the tangible tool.
Belar 1: Glaming the existing devices
The construction of new devices offers great obstacles, such as manufacturing challenges and lack of components, which limits expansion – a decisive factor for global adoption. To gain prevailing traction, DePin projects should look forward to current basic commodity devices as a launch platform.
For example, Solana Saga, an Android smartphone designed by Solana Labs, is smoothly with Solana Blockchain, and provides a direct experience of decentralized applications. However, the approach is not limited to the original Blockchain devices. In Natix, we benefit from the power of smartphones to create a central camera network without the need for new devices. Likewise, Silencio uses smartphones to monitor and reduce noise pollution, while showing how DePin projects are used for smartphones to expand their scope quickly.
Pillar 2: Expanding access to Web3 beyond encryption
In the WEB3 space, we are used to cryptocurrencies, digital portfolios and decentralized financing. However, a large part of the population is not. Many people are not aware of these concepts or even unaware, which creates a barrier in front of the prevailing adoption.
To make DePin projects accessible to everyone, it is necessary to merge non -chipoto rewards along with encryption incentives. The merging of gift cards, discounts, or other concessions known that participation is not limited to those immersed in encryption.
The inclusiveness does not stop at the rewards. It is also about creating a user experience that looks familiar and intuitive. For example, submitting registration options via email or SMS instead of only a portfolio registration can make it easier for users who are not residents to start.
Projects that combine encryption and non -encrypted incentives, along with the intuitive design, are likely to attract a more diverse audience. By balancing totalitarianism with innovation, DePin can block the gap between web3 and sovereignty.
Pillar 3: Give priority to the symbolic tool on symbolic profits
Regardless of the extent of technology novel, the project can only succeed by providing a real value to its users. Although symbols may attract initial attention, the follow -up depends on the project’s ability to provide permanent benefits that enhance daily life.
DePin projects should focus on concrete applications that solve real problems.
The goal should not be to create completely new habits but to improve current habits, which facilitates the adoption of your product. Whether processing traffic congestion, air quality monitoring, or data privacy enhancement, DePin projects should give the user -focused solutions on speculative features.
Challenge processing: expansion and preservation of
With the use of current devices and expanding access to a path to size, challenges remain. One of the lessons we learned in Natix is that the Depin models based on smartphones, for example, often struggled with the decrease in the retaining of the user compared to the solutions of the devices that work negatively. However, if it is done correctly (for example by taking advantage of Gamification, providing benefit to users, etc.), it can become an excessive applicable method for building infrastructure. Combining increased benefit with an armed user experience has worked wonders for projects such as Silencio and Natix, increasing retirement rates and opening a new way to create a smart phone -based DePin.
At the same time, the infrastructure of expansion requires strategic partnerships and community participation. Cooperation with local organizations or municipalities can help integrate DePin projects into the broader ecosystems, enhance and adopt their value.
DePin building for sovereignty
Just as I revolutionized the iPhone the way we think and use it in mobile phone technology, the studied models can be well converted how we interact with the material world, which makes decentralization not just a concept, but a daily experience of billions.
The journey is not related to the prevailing adoption of DePin and WEB3 as a whole on cheerful technology or complex innovations that only a few can understand. It comes to what is already exist – whether it is smartphones, user habits or daily problems – and make them better, easier and more valuable through encryption power and decentralization.
By aligning the technological vision with the user’s practical needs, we can bring DePin and Web3 to the main current.
