Pakistan, US advance partnership in digital economy with focus on AI and blockchain

In an important step towards deepening cooperation between the Pakistani United States in the digital economy, Bilal Bin Sakib, CEO of the Pakistan Cheap Council, met the US ambassador to Pakistan, Natalia Baker, on Thursday to discuss common aspirations in Blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI) and youth development.

The meeting focused on empowering the population of Pakistan – one of them is the smallest and most ambitious in the world – to lead the progress of emerging technologies such as Web3 and AI. Both sides explore ways to build stronger links between American technology institutions and the increasing ecosystems in Pakistan.

Bilal Bin Sakb emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to become a center for competitive innovation globally, where Blockchain and AI technologies are at the heart of its economic future. He said: “This is the time to invest in our youth, link them to global leaders, and create real pipelines from opportunities between the United States and Pakistan.”

Discussions included plans for joint initiatives, talent exchange, and strategic notes of understanding (MOS) between American technology companies and Pakistani startups. These programs aim to create long -term partnerships that benefit from the two countries while ensuring that Pakistan youth remain at the forefront of the global digital revolution.

The Pakistan Exposition Council also highlighted its role in using Blockchain technology as a means of diplomacy and education and enables the expansion of Pakistani youth opportunities in the digital sector.
