Again in October 2023, we subscriber We will release Bitcoin’s bitcoin deposit addresses to improve our use of Bitcoin’s bloc space. In the months after the advertisement, all Bitmex accounts were released with new BECH32 Bech32 (P2WPkh) (also known as “BC1 addresses”), the historical “vanity” title (3BMEX, BC1QMEX).
Despite these notifications and the issue of new addresses for all accounts, we have noticed that some customers continue to deposit Bitcoin to their old port. This makes it difficult for us to implement completely on our promise to improve our use of the bitcoin block space.
After more than a year of the friendly transition, we are now forced to push customers from these old titles. Please note that From March 31, 2025, we will no longer lead to bitcoin deposits in these titles upon their arrival.
We urge customers to update their address books and white menu addresses elsewhere. If this is not completed yet, please do this by March 30, 2025. More details can be found under the “desired user procedure” in this condition.
All deposits that were conducted to the old addresses will not be added except based on a review course of not less than two weeks (driven by the level of deposits), which means that the money sent to your account through an old address may not be credited with your trading account for up to two weeks (at best and perhaps longer).
Please note that BitMex will not bear any responsibility or a loss incurred by the money sent to Legacy addresses.
We remind users that money that is not attributed to their account will not be available for trading or margin and may lead to the liquidation of current situations.
