Mary (Zelja) Debben, 84, of Fall River, died Sunday, April 23, 2006 at Sarah Britton Nursing Center, Fall River after a long illness. She was the wife of Edmund A. Dibben Jr. She was born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Frank and Katherine (Pasizyn) Szeliga, and lived in Fall River all her life. She was a member of St. Joseph Parish, Fall River, and enjoyed making crafts for her family and friends. She worked in the clothing industry and was a member of the ILGWU. Besides her husband of 58 years, she leaves two daughters, Sandra Ann Levesque of New Bedford and Patricia Joan Seneschal of Swansea, 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Anna Valcourt Concaison, Jenny Petrin, Joseph Szeliga and Walter Szeliga. Following cremation, a funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 28 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, North Saint Main. Interment Fall River to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
